Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY), 71-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Albany Academy for Girls upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Bears host Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a Section 2 Colonial bout on Monday, February 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Cobleskill-Richmondville won 41-25 in their recent league bout against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY)

Next up, the Warriors play the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Mohonasen will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record.
