The Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Chatfield Gophers to 56 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cannon Falls for a AA Section 1 contest on Saturday, February 10. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will meet a Bombers team coming off a 76-19 non-league loss to Byron (Byron, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 2-21.

The Gophers (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Tigers enter the AA Section 1 contest with a 13-14 record. In their last contest, Lake City nudged Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN), 52-49, in a league contest.
