The Kimball Cubs basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Maple Lake Irish to 34 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cubs now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paynesville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Kimball will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-41 non-league win over Royalton (Royalton, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-12.
The Irish (2-19) will now prepare for their contest against Blake (Minneapolis, MN). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Blake triumphed over Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN), 52-30, in a non-league contest.
