Memorial Tigers (West New York, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ), 44-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Memorial upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Harrison Blue Tide (Harrison, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. McNair Academic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Blue Tide go into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 55-25 non-league loss to Snyder (Jersey City, NJ).
