The Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) basketball nipped the host North Side Gators (Shelby, MS), 49-42 in Thursday's league test.
The Bulldogs (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Charleston (Charleston, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 19-2 record. In their last test, Charleston got by O'Bannon (Greenville, MS), 34-25, in a non-league test.
The Gators now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a 2A Region 3 test on Friday, February 9. North Side will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-42 league win over North Side (Shelby, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.
