The Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Dobie Longhorns (Houston, TX), 63-54 in Saturday's league bout.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 14-19 record. They play next when they travel to Pasadena Memorial for a 6A Region III District 22 bout on Wednesday, February 12. Alvin will play a Mavericks team coming off a 68-50 league win over Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 18-14.
With the loss, Dobie falls to 7-26 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Manvel (Manvel, TX) to play the Mavericks in a 6A Region III District 22 bout on Wednesday, February 12. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 14-13.
