The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) and the visiting Morton Potters (Morton, IL), observed East Peoria's basketball team edge Morton by a margin of 72-69.

The Raiders (19-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Normal West (Normal, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-16 record. In their last challenge, Normal West edged El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL), 53-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Potters battle the Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Morton will attempt to better on its 19-6 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 56-49 league win over Centennial (Champaign, IL).
