North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilson Prep triumphant over Northwest Halifax

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) and the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), observed Wilson Prep's basketball team overwhelm Northwest Halifax by a score of 107-70.

The Tigers (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A Tar Roanoke challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Warren County was routed by Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC), 75-70, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Northwest Halifax will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Pride come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 85-80 league loss to Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC).
