Oregon High School Basketball - St. Helens sneaks past Astoria

The St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) basketball edged the visiting Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR), 48-46 in Saturday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Banks for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. St. Helens will play a Braves team coming off a 52-32 league win over Riverdale (Portland, OR). The Braves record now stands at 22-3.

With the loss, Astoria falls to 9-9 on the campaign. The Fishermen travel to Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR) to play the Valiants in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Valiants go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Valley Catholic won 52-12 in their recent league bout against Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR)
