The Columbus Discoverers basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Benson Bunnies to 32 in the Discoverers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Discoverers now have a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Burke for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Columbus will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-29 non-league loss to Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-17.

With the loss, Benson falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Bunnies travel to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to confront the Monarchs in a A District 1 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Monarchs go into the game with a record of 10-9. Papillion-LaVista won 68-40 in their recent league game against Fremont (Fremont, NE)
