Nebraska High School Basketball - Cedar Catholic held off by Pierce

In Saturday's non-league test, the Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) basketball squad got by the host Cedar Catholic Trojans (Hartington, NE), by a score of 49-42.

Next, the Bluejays encounter the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 11. Pierce will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 11-10 record after their 50-45 non-league win over Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE).

The Trojans (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 20-0 record. In their last test, Elkhorn Valley held off West Holt (Atkinson, NE), 37-22, in a non-league test.
