The Clay County Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Harlan County Black Bears to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Somerset for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Clay County will confront a Briar Jumpers team coming off a 47-32 non-league loss to McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Briar Jumpers record now stands at 3-17.

With the loss, Harlan County falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Black bears host Knott County Central (Hindman, KY) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 17-6. Knott County Central won 60-27 in their recent non-league game against Powell County (Stanton, KY)
