New Mexico High School Basketball - Quemado knocks off Cliff

In Saturday's league contest, the host Quemado Eagles basketball team scored a good 37-29 win over the Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls.
The Eagles (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Reserve (Reserve, NM). The Mountaineers come into the A District 2 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Reserve was topped by Magdalena (Magdalena, NM), 64-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cowboys/Cowgirls battle the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) in a A District 2 contest, on Thursday, February 13. Cliff will attempt to better on its 15-2 season record. The Steers come into the contest with a 18-5 record after their 56-21 league win over Animas (Animas, NM).
