Nebraska High School Basketball - Mead knocked off by Elmwood-Murdock

The Elmwood-Murdock Knights basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Mead Raiders to 38 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian School for a C2 District 2 contest on Saturday, February 11. Elmwood-Murdock will meet a Cougars team coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Tri County Northeast (Emerson, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 13-5.
The Raiders (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE). The Eagles enter the D1 District 2 contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Omaha Christian Academy was defeated by Heartland Christian (Council Bluffs, IA), 63-57, in a non-league contest.
