Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN) and the visiting Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN), saw Walker Valley's basketball squad wallop Polk County by a count of 81-53.

With the victory, Walker Valley upgrades its record to 17-9 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Sweetwater Wildcats (Sweetwater, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Polk County will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 35-33 non-league win over Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN).
