In Thursday's league match, the visiting Gouverneur Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 62-33 triumph over the Salmon River Shamrocks.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Heuvelton Central Bulldogs (Heuvelton, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 11. Gouverneur will attempt to move on its 17-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-9 record after their 63-53 league win over Harrisville (Harrisville, NY).
With the defeat, Salmon River moves to 5-13 on the year.
