Tennessee High School Basketball - Jefferson County thwarts Pigeon Forge

The Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN) basketball knocked off the host Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN), 52-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Dobyns-Bennett notched a victory over David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN), 41-40, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Carter for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Pigeon Forge will encounter a Green Hornets squad coming off a 50-29 non-league loss to Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN). The Green Hornets record now stands at 6-21.
