In Thursday's league match, the host Meade Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 78-55 triumph over the South River Seahawks.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD) in a match, on Wednesday, February 15. Meade will attempt to better on its 18-3 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 49-45 league loss to Green Street Academy (Baltimore, MD).
With the defeat, South River moves to 0-2 on the year.
