The Trojans now possess a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Starmount for a 1A Northwest battle on Tuesday, February 13. Alleghany will battle a Rams team coming off a 70-37 league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Rams record now stands at 8-13.

The Buckin' Elks (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears come into the 1A Northwest battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Mount Airy prevailed over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 59-57, in a non-league battle.
