North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashbrook over North Gaston

February 9, 2024: Dallas, NC 28034

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) and the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), saw Ashbrook's basketball squad overcome North Gaston by a tally of 66-54.

With the victory, Ashbrook improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Greenwave travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to confront the Storm in a 3A Big South challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 6-16. Stuart W. Cramer lost 80-54 in their recent league challenge against Huss (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a 3A Big South challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. North Gaston will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 77-65 league win over South Point (Belmont, NC).
