The Weatherford Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Blanchard Lions to 21 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 21-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a Western - North contest on Tuesday, February 13. Weatherford will battle a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 51-35 league loss to Tuttle (Tuttle, OK). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 1-19.
The Lions (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ardmore (Ardmore, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Ardmore was routed by Bethany (Bethany, OK), 61-57, in a non-league contest.
