The Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) basketball knocked off the host Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC), 48-37 in Friday's league test.

The Highlanders (6-16) will now prepare for their test against Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Hawks go into the 1A Little Smoky test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Nantahala went down by Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC), 92-48, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Hiwassee Dam for a 1A Little Smoky test on Tuesday, February 13. Blue Ridge Early College will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 92-48 league win over Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-13.
