Ohio High School Basketball - Hawken crushes Orange

February 9, 2024: Pepper Pike, OH 44124

Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH), 63-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hawken upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Mayfield (Mayfield, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 5-13. Mayfield won 72-45 in their recent league bout against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH)

Next up, the Lions play the Bard Early College Raptors (Cleveland, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Orange will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Raptors come into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 59-18 league win over Campus International (Cleveland, OH).
