The Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) basketball felled the host Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL), 60-52 in Friday's league test.

The Scouts (21-6) will now prepare for their test against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings go into the non-league test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Benet Academy thwarted Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL), 60-28, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 9-20 record. They play next when they travel to St. Charles East for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Mundelein will encounter a Fighting Saints squad coming off a 53-37 league loss to Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 8-19.
