Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County winner over Oasis Academy

In Friday's league outing, the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) basketball squad felled the host Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), by a margin of 53-40.

The Mustangs (10-15) will now prepare for their outing against Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 17-9 record. In their last outing, Yerington thwarted Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV), 51-19, in a league outing.

The Bighorns now own a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra Lutheran for a 2A Northern outing on Saturday, February 10. Oasis Academy will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 56-44 league win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons record now stands at 8-16.
