The Swain County Maroon Devils basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Robbinsville Black Knights to 60 in the Maroon Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Maroon Devils now sport a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Andrews for a 1A Big Smoky bout on Tuesday, February 13. Swain County will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 66-57 league win over Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-5.

Next up, the Black Knights play the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) in a 1A Big Smoky bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Robbinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 84-69 league loss to Murphy (Murphy, NC).
