Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA), 59-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Sage Creek upgrades its record to 15-13 on the season.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Vista Panthers (Vista, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 14. San Dieguito Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-21 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 19-9 record after their 62-55 league win over Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA).
