Georgia High School Basketball - Cook tipped by Clinch County

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Clinch County Panthers basketball team scored a tight 46-43 triumph over the Cook Hornets.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) in a A D2 Region 2 match, on Saturday, February 10. Clinch County will attempt to better on its 15-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-15 record after their 49-48 league loss to Echols County (Statenville, GA).

With the defeat, Cook moves to 10-14 on the year. The Hornets travel to Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA) to meet the Purple Hurricane in a AA Region 1 match on Saturday, February 10. The Purple Hurricane enter the match with a record of 13-11. Fitzgerald won 50-24 in their recent league match against Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA)
