In Friday's league outing, the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad edged the host Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 61-57.
The Lions (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the 3A/4A Queen City outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Chambers was tipped by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 69-38, in a league outing.
The Rams now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Hough for a 3A/4A Queen City outing on Tuesday, February 13. Harding University will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 65-24 league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 14-8.
