The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks to 42 in the Crusaders league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newburgh Free Academy for a Section 9 Orange County I contest on Tuesday, February 13. Monroe-Woodbury will battle a Goldbacks team coming off a 48-42 league loss to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Goldbacks record now stands at 4-11.

The Goldbacks (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Crusaders enter the Section 9 Orange County I contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Monroe-Woodbury nudged Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY), 48-42, in a league contest.
