The Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting NC GBB Academy National Eagles (Durham, NC), 74-65 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (15-11) will now prepare for their test against Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC). The Fighting Pharaohs go into the non-league test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, Quality Education Academy notched a victory over TPLS Christian Academy (Richmond, VA), 60-40, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 14-15 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale Baptist for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. NC GBB Academy National will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 59-37 league loss to Winston-Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 15-21.
