William Floyd Colonials (Mastic Beach, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY), 67-47 in a league bout.

With the win, William Floyd upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Colonials travel to Brentwood (Brentwood, NY) to clash with the Indians in a Section 11 AAA-1 bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Brentwood lost 39-33 in their recent league bout against Walt Whitman (Huntington Station, NY)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Ward Melville Patriots (East Setauket, NY) in a Section 11 AAA-1 bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Patchogue-Medford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
