The Toombs County Bulldogs basketball team (Lyons, GA), was nudged 55-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA)
The Bears now possess a 15-9 record.
The Bulldogs (6-15) will now prepare for their battle against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors come into the AA Region 3 battle with a 14-10 record. In their last battle, Tattnall County edged Vidalia (Vidalia, GA), 60-58, in a league battle.
