In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Topsail Pirates basketball team scored a good 58-38 triumph over the South Brunswick Cougars.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 13. Topsail will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record.
With the defeat, South Brunswick moves to 3-15 on the year. The Cougars travel to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to meet the Vikings in a match on Tuesday, February 13. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 14-1.
