With the triumph, South Central improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Falcons host Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Thursday, March 3. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 2. Ayden - Grifton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Hurricanes come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 8-3 non-league win over West Craven (Vanceboro, NC).
