North Carolina High School Baseball - North Rowan gets by Salisbury

March 1, 2023: Salisbury, NC 28144

North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), 10-8 in a league test.

With the win, North Rowan upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cavaliers host South Davidson (Denton, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Central Carolina 1A/2A test on Thursday, March 9. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-1.

With the defeat, Salisbury falls to 0-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to battle the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 1-0. North Surry won 15-4 in their recent non-league test against Alleghany (Sparta, NC)
