In Monday's non-league challenge, the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) baseball squad the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), by a final score of 5-2.

With the win, North Rowan upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to battle the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. West Davidson won 6-2 in their recent league challenge against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC)

With the defeat, Salisbury falls to 8-15 on the season.
