In Friday's non-league outing, the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball squad edged the visiting Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD), by a count of 51-49.
The Miners (21-3) will now prepare for their outing against Southern (Oakland, MD). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 20-3 record. In their last outing, Southern held off Northern (Accident, MD), 72-25, in a non-league outing.
The Campers now hold a 12-8 record.
