The Cypress Centurions softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Villa Park Spartans to 1 in the Centurions non-league win on Saturday.

The Centurions now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irvine for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. Cypress will confront a Vaqueros team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Villa Park moves to 2-3 on the season. The Spartans host Esperanza (Anaheim, CA) to confront the Aztecs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Aztecs come into the battle with a record of 2-4. Esperanza lost 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA)
