In Thursday's non-league test, the Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA), by a tally of 8-3.

Next, the Centurions clash with the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) in a Crestview test, on Saturday, April 26. Cypress will attempt to advance on its 15-9 season record. The Vanguards go into the test with a 16-7 record after their 8-1 league loss to Canyon (Anaheim, CA).

The Spartans (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Sonora (La Habra, CA). The Raiders go into the Freeway test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Sonora was routed by La Habra (La Habra, CA), 5-1, in a league test.
