The Ashley Screaming Eagle baseball team (Wilmington, NC), 5-2 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC)

The Patriots now hold a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host D.H. Conley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 15.

Next, the Screaming Eagle confront the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Tuesday, March 15. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
