California High School Softball - Clairemont bounces Hilltop

The Clairemont Chieftains routed the host Hilltop Lancers softball squad by a final score of 25-6 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Chieftains (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against University City (San Diego, CA). The Centurions go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, University City was routed by El Camino (Oceanside, CA), 14-4, in a non-league battle.

The Lancers now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Helix for a non-league battle on Monday, March 14. Hilltop will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-2.
