California High School Volleyball - De Anza can't hold off El Cerrito

In Friday's league battle, the host El Cerrito Gauchos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the De Anza Dons.
The Gauchos (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Ugly Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Clayton Valley Charter was edged by Alhambra (Martinez, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Dons clash with the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 14. De Anza will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA).
