The Sherman Bearcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting McKinney North Bulldogs to 2 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Sherman moves its record to 13-8 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX) to clash with the Leopards in a 5A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, March 14. The Leopards come into the game with a record of 13-9. Lovejoy won 17-2 in their recent league game against Greenville (Greenville, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 13 game, on Friday, March 17. McKinney North will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 12-8 record after their 12-10 league win over Denison (Denison, TX).
