The Rio Mesa Spartans baseball team (Oxnard, CA), 12-10 in Friday's league outing with the host Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA)

The Yellowjackets now hold a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pacifica for a Pacific View outing on Tuesday, March 15. Oxnard will confront a Tritons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Camarillo (Camarillo, CA). The Tritons record now stands at 8-5.

Next, the Spartans confront the Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA) in a Pacific View outing, on Tuesday, March 15. Rio Mesa will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Raiders go into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 13-4 league loss to Ventura (Ventura, CA).
