In Friday's league contest, the West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX), by a margin of 9-2.

With the triumph, West Rusk moves its record to 16-0 on the year. The Raiders travel to Waskom (Waskom, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, March 15.
