The North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) softball the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), 4-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Black Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets go into the The Mountain 3A/4A bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, A.C. Reynolds was routed by South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 6-0, in a non-league bout.

The Pioneers now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Asheville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 15. Watauga will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 30-6 non-league loss to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
