Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting South Bronx Community Spartans (Bronx, NY), 65-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 462-1404 on the campaign. The host Kingsway Christian (Orrville, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 11. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 25-12. Kingsway Christian won 62-36 in their recent non-league bout against Portersville Christian (Portersville, PA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Promise Academy II Titans (New York, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 14. South Bronx Community will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 62-36 league loss to Capital Prep Harbor (Bridgeport, CT).
