North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashley holds off Topsail

March 11, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28412

In Tuesday's league game, the host Ashley Screaming Eagle baseball team scored a close 10-6 win over the Topsail Pirates.

The Screaming Eagle (5-0) will now prepare for their game against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans go into the Mideastern 3A/4A game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, West Brunswick was overwhelmed by Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC), 4-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Pirates play the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Friday, March 14. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 5-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Reagan (Pfafftown, NC).
