The Thomson Bulldogs baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Butler Bulldogs to 0 in the Bulldogs league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln County for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. Thomson will clash with a Red Devils team coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-2.

With the defeat, Butler drops to 0-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Laney (Augusta, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a AA Region 4 test on Wednesday, March 12. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-5. Laney lost 16-6 in their recent league test against Josey (Augusta, GA)
